A fatal accident during a vacation in Çamyuva

In late September, at a hotel in Çamyuva, Antalya, a 42-year-old tourist from Kazan tragically lost her life. While swimming outside the designated buoyed area, she was struck by a motorboat used for parasailing and sustained fatal injuries from the propeller.

Immediate coordination and communication

Following the incident, the Remed Assistance team immediately initiated coordination of all necessary actions. The team maintained continuous communication with local authorities, the insurance company, and the victim’s relatives, ensuring that both the medical and administrative processes were handled promptly and correctly.

Sensitive management of formalities and repatriation

Given the extreme sensitivity of the situation, special attention was paid to preparing medical and legal documentation, obtaining international authorizations, organizing the formalities related to body handling and transportation, and arranging the repatriation flight. Once all procedures were completed, the deceased was respectfully transported to Ufa and handed over to her family.
